Music that leaves a mark.

“Every track should leave a dent on the soul.”

Contusion Records is a sibling-run creative music studio led by Lisa and Terry — built on the belief that sound should carry weight.

We develop artists from the inside out, shaping identity, sound, and atmosphere together. A spark becomes a tone, a tone becomes a vision, and a vision grows into something bigger than a release.

We grew up believing music was powerful — a little unpredictable, a little dangerous — and that’s still the energy driving this label forward. Everything we build is meant to connect, challenge, and stay with you.

Contusion Records is just beginning, but the foundation is already in motion: bold projects, fearless creative direction, and music designed to collide with expectation.

Upcoming Releases

Hellion

A metal force born from legend. Riding Hell’s highway, the Hellion gathers the souls the rapture left behind. Death himself can’t block the path — the Hellion serves a higher will, and the music hits with relentless, apocalyptic fury.

Copperwolf

Grit-soaked southern rock with a blues-burned backbone. Raw, rhythmic, and unapologetically alive, CopperWolf channels heat, dust, and restless spirit into every riff and chorus.

Crimson Fray

A ferocious rock force carrying the grit of grunge and the pull of heavy blues. Fierce, defiant, and electrically charged, The Crimson Fray leans into raw power, sharp edges, and sound that refuses to sit quietly.

The Ones Who Leave the Bruise

Terry
Reed

Composer,
Director of Music & Artist Relations

Terry is the musical architect of Contusion Records — a composer, performer, and collaborator who shapes the sonic foundation of every project. He guides composition, develops arrangements, and builds the musical identity behind each release while fostering the relationships that keep the creative engine moving.

Lisa

Producer, Director of
Creative Development

Lisa is the creative architect of Contusion Records — a producer, lyricist, and visual storyteller who shapes the identity behind the sound. From songwriting and production direction to branding, narrative, and design, she develops the world each project lives inside.

A shared vision turned into sound, identity, and living music.

We don’t follow trends — we fracture them.

How a Music World Was Forged Before Forged was an album, CopperWolf was a presence. At Contusion Records, projects aren’t built by starting with songs and hoping identity follows. They begin with a center of gravity — a character, an emotional territory, and a worldview strong […]
The Song Before the Singer We tend to remember music history through faces. Frontmen. Voices. Personalities at the center of the stage. But in many eras, the music didn’t begin with the performer. It began with the song. Long before the modern expectation that artists must […]
Building Music Projects as Worlds, Not Releases Most music is built around output. Songs are written, recorded, and released in sequence, with identity often clarified only after the work is already public. Sometimes that process produces something cohesive. Often, it produces a collection of tracks that […]
